Construction Project Manager
As a Construction Project Manager, you will oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from beginning to end. Your responsibilities will include planning, coordinating, and directing the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will also be responsible for managing project budgets, schedules, and resources, as well as ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management and a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes. You should also possess excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders involved in the project.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and direct all phases of construction projects
- Prepare project budgets and schedules
- Source and manage contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Monitor progress of projects and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project
- Review project plans and specifications to identify potential issues or improvements
- Conduct site visits to ensure work is being carried out according to plans
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in construction management
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proven leadership abilities
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications
- Proficient in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera P6
This is a contract position based in Wiltz with a salary of $1400 per month. All nationalities are welcome to apply.
