Floral Designer


We are seeking a creative and skilled Floral Designer to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Floral Designer, you will use your artistic talent to create beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, parties, and funerals. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and bring it to life through your designs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and create unique floral arrangements using different types of flowers, foliage, and other materials
- Consult with clients to understand their event theme and preferences
- Create sketches or digital mock-ups of proposed designs for client approval
- Order and maintain inventory of flowers, plants, and other supplies
- Prepare flowers for arrangements by cutting, trimming, and conditioning them appropriately
- Set up and decorate event spaces with floral arrangements according to client's specifications
- Ensure timely delivery of floral arrangements to events or clients' homes
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Floral Designer or similar role
- Knowledge of different flower types, care techniques, and design styles
- Ability to create unique designs that reflect clients' preferences and event themes
- Excellent communication skills to consult with clients and work effectively with team members
- Attention to detail and strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy flower containers

Salary:
This is a contract job with a salary of $1400 per month. Accommodation will be provided for non-local employees.
