Entry-Level Formworker in Fonvieille


We are seeking an entry-level Formworker to join our team in Fonvieille. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for constructing temporary and permanent molds for concrete structures, using various materials such as wood, steel, and plastic.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Cut, shape, and assemble wooden or metal molds according to specifications
- Secure mold panels together with nails or screws
- Apply release agents to molds to prevent concrete from sticking
- Pour and spread concrete into molds, smoothing and leveling it using trowels and other tools
- Remove mold panels after concrete has set
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in formwork construction

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and methods preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments
- Must have reliable transportation to job sites in Fonvieille

Salary:
This is a contract position with a starting salary of $900 per week.

Location:
This job is located in Fonvieille, a picturesque city known for its beautiful architecture and rich history. While not required, candidates who are familiar with the local culture would be preferred.
