Executive Chef - Canadian Cuisine
As a leading restaurant in Siauliai, we are seeking an experienced Executive Chef with a passion for Canadian cuisine. This is a unique opportunity for a talented chef to showcase their skills and creativity in a dynamic and diverse kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee menus featuring authentic Canadian dishes
- Train and manage kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Source and select the freshest ingredients from local suppliers
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen
- Create new dishes that reflect the changing seasons and incorporate locally-sourced ingredients
- Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective menus that meet budgetary requirements
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining restaurant or hotel
- Strong knowledge and passion for Canadian cuisine
- Experience in managing a team of kitchen staff
- Excellent culinary skills and ability to create new, innovative dishes
- Attention to detail with regards to food presentation and quality
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Canadian nationality or experience working with Canadian cuisine
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: $1600 per month
We welcome applicants without prior experience as an Executive Chef but with strong culinary skills and a willingness to learn. However, due to the nature of this role, we are unable to provide accommodation. Please also note that candidates must hold a valid biometric passport.
