Junior Data Mining Analyst - Faroe Islands


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Mining Analyst to join our team in the beautiful Faroe Islands. As a Junior Data Mining Analyst, you will play a key role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data to support our company's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct data mining and analysis using various tools and techniques
- Extract relevant information from large datasets and present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and provide insights for decision making
- Develop predictive models and algorithms to improve data accuracy and effectiveness
- Monitor data quality, identify issues, and propose solutions to improve processes
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data mining

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
- Prior experience in data mining or analytics is preferred but not required
- Proficient in SQL, Python, R or other programming languages for data manipulation and analysis
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques such as clustering, regression, decision trees etc.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)
