Contract Android Developer
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Lisbon, Portugal. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. Your focus will be on creating user-friendly, innovative, and efficient solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and fix bugs in a timely manner
- Collaborate with UX designers to implement attractive designs
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Android Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Experience working with Android SDK and third-party libraries
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
- Understanding of Android design principles and interface guidelines
- Experience working with version control systems such as Git or SVN
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
