Floral Designer


We are in search of a talented and creative Floral Designer to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating stunning floral arrangements for a variety of occasions such as weddings, events, and seasonal displays. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of flowers and foliage to bring beauty and joy to our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and create custom floral designs that exceed their expectations
- Source high-quality flowers and foliage from vendors while staying within budget
- Prepare flowers by removing leaves, thorns, and other imperfections before arranging them into beautiful displays
- Use various techniques such as wiring, taping, and gluing to create unique designs
- Manage inventory of floral supplies and ensure they are organized and well-maintained
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in floral design and incorporate them into your work
- Set up arrangements at event locations and provide on-site support as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Floral Designer or similar role
- Creativity, artistic eye, and attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of different types of flowers, foliage, and their care
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members
- Knowledge of color theory and design principles
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work with your hands

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this full-time position. In addition, we provide accommodation for non-local employees if needed.

Candidates must have their own visa to work in Porto, Portugal. We do not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
