We are in need of a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures and fixtures such as staircases, doors, cabinets, and furniture. In this role, you will use various hand and power tools to accurately measure, cut, shape, and smooth wood materials.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to blueprints or specifications
- Install structures and fixtures including windows, frames, floorings, and trim
- Build wooden structures using hand or power tools such as saws and drills
- Repair or renovate existing structures by replacing damaged wood or fixing structural issues
- Follow safety procedures when working with sharp tools and heavy equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and equipment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, levels, etc.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of wood properties and carpentry techniques
- Excellent math skills for measuring materials accurately
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship
- Good communication skills
