Concierge Assistant - Shan City, Kenya


The Concierge Assistant will provide exceptional customer service and support to guests at our luxury hotel in Shan City, Kenya. They will assist the Concierge team with various tasks such as booking reservations, arranging transportation, and providing recommendations for local attractions and activities. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, knowledge of the local area, and a friendly demeanor. This is a full-time position that requires fluency in English and availability to work flexible hours. Foreign candidates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in process
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Book restaurant reservations, transportation arrangements, and other requests as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized lobby area
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Keep up-to-date on local events and activities to provide recommendations to guests
- Assist with luggage handling when necessary
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure efficient guest service
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Fluent in English (Kiswahili proficiency is a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Shan City and surrounding areas
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1400$ per month.
