QA Engineer



Our fast-growing software company in Lisbon is seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products before they are released to our clients. This position offers a competitive salary of $1400, as well as accommodation options for those relocating to Lisbon.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of our software products
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify and resolve defects
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features do not negatively impact existing functionality
- Utilize automated testing tools to improve efficiency and accuracy of testing processes
- Continuously monitor and report on the quality of our products, providing suggestions for improvement when necessary
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continually improve our QA processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of software development processes
- Proficient in manual testing techniques, with experience in automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
- Experience with bug tracking tools, such as JIRA or Bugzilla
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:
- ISTQB certification or equivalent experience in software testing methodologies
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
