Junior Back-End Developer


We are seeking a Junior Back-End Developer to join our growing team in Alta, Norway. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side logic, creating and managing databases, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of our web applications. This entry-level position is perfect for students or recent graduates looking to gain experience in the field, and we are happy to offer visa sponsorship for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side logic using languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby
- Create and manage databases using SQL or NoSQL technologies
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth integration between front-end and back-end systems
- Optimize application performance through code optimization and database tuning
- Troubleshoot issues reported by users or system monitors
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with at least one back-end programming language (Java, Python, Ruby)
- Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Knowledge of web development frameworks such as Spring Boot or Django is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1500$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Alta, Norway. While we prefer candidates who are already located in Norway or have the ability to relocate on their own, we are happy to offer visa sponsorship for qualified international candidates.
