Tile Setter

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team in Jerusalem. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of tile, including ceramic, marble, and granite. The ideal candidate will have experience in tile installation and possess strong attention to detail. This position offers a salary of 1300$ per month and includes accommodation. We welcome applications from all nationalities, but preference will be given to Indian or Malayalee candidates with proficiency in English. Women are also encouraged to apply for this position.

As a Tile Setter, your main responsibilities will include measuring and cutting tiles to fit specific areas, preparing surfaces for tile installation, mixing and applying mortar or adhesive, and ensuring tiles are properly aligned and evenly spaced. You may also be required to remove old tiles or damaged grout and replace them with new ones.

The successful candidate for this role must have at least 1 year of experience in tile setting. They should have a strong understanding of different types of tile materials and the ability to use various tools such as trowels, cutters, and levels. Physical strength is also important for this role as it involves lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.

In addition to technical skills, we are looking for a candidate who is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills are essential for this role as you may need to collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects.
