We are a leading company in the oil and gas industry and we are currently seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Svalbard. In this position, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments and control systems used in our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various instruments including pressure gauges, thermocouples, flow transmitters, and level sensors
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and control systems to ensure proper functioning
- Calibrate instruments according to industry standards
- Keep accurate records of instrument maintenance and repairs
- Work closely with other technicians and engineers to identify any potential issues or improvements in the instrumentation systems
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry
- Strong knowledge of various instruments used in production facilities
- Familiarity with control systems such as DCS or PLCs
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Biometric passport for international travel is preferred but not required

This is a contract position without accommodation provided. We are open to hiring students who meet the experience requirements. The salary for this position starts at $1000 per week.
