Elevator Installer



We are seeking a skilled Elevator Installer to join our team in Akron. As an Elevator Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining elevators in various buildings and structures. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work at heights.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain elevators according to safety standards and manufacturer guidelines
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with elevators
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, adjustment, and replacement of parts
- Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly before handing it over to the client
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and any potential concerns or delays
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on job sites

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in a relevant field such as construction or maintenance preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems is an asset
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics is required
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1600 per month. Additional benefits may be offered based on experience and performance.

Location:
This position is located in Akron but may require travel to various job sites within the area.
