Sales Manager (Funchal, Madeira)
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Funchal, Madeira. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales representatives, driving sales growth and developing strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets
- Lead and motivate the sales team to meet individual and group targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential areas for growth
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to management
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, finance, and operations to ensure smooth operations
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company's products/services
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry in Funchal/Madeira
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- In-depth knowledge of sales principles and techniques
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Fluent in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
