Instrument Technician


We are in search of a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Eldoret. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial settings. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Install and calibrate instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, and level indicators
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty instruments and control systems
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Program and configure control systems to meet specific requirements
- Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to understand instrument set-up and functionality
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to complete projects within specified timelines
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and replacements
- Stay updated on industry developments and new technologies related to instrumentation

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician or in a similar role
- Experience working with various types of instruments such as temperature, pressure, flow, level, and control systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues quickly
- Knowledge of programming languages such as PLC ladder logic or HMI scripting is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be able to read technical diagrams and schematics
- Must have own visa for employment
