Concierge for Luxury Hotel in Braga, Portugal

As a Concierge for our luxury hotel in Braga, Portugal, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for our guests. Your main duties will include assisting guests with their needs and inquiries, making reservations and arrangements for activities and dining, and providing recommendations for local attractions and events.

Requirements:
- Passion for customer service and ability to anticipate guest needs
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Knowledge of the local area and attractions
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality or tourism degree is a plus)
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Must be able to work full-time with flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be legally eligible to work in Portugal

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm welcome
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and policies
- Assist guests with check-in/check-out processes
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints or issues promptly and professionally
- Make reservations for activities, dining, transportation or other services as requested by guests
- Create itineraries and provide recommendations for local attractions, events or tours based on guest preferences
- Coordinate special requests such as flowers or gifts deliveries to guest rooms
- Maintain the lobby area clean and tidy at all times
- Work closely with other departments to ensure excellent guest experience
throughout their stay
- Attend trainings or meetings as required by management
- Other duties as assigned

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn and grow within the hospitality industry. This is an entry-level position that offers on-the-job training. We also provide accommodation for our employees.
