IT Support Specialist for Network and Systems Administration in Wiltz, Luxembourg



We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team in Wiltz, Luxembourg. As the Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our company's network and system infrastructure. This includes monitoring network performance, configuring routers and switches, maintaining security protocols, and ensuring system backups are conducted regularly.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network and system performance to identify and resolve any issues
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices
- Ensure security protocols are in place and regularly updated
- Conduct regular backups of all systems to ensure data integrity
- Troubleshoot any network or system related issues that arise
- Install and configure new hardware and software as needed
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and make recommendations for improvements to the current infrastructure

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 2 years of experience as a Network or Systems Administrator
- Strong knowledge of networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs
- Experience with configuring firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs
- Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS/Azure)
- Security certifications such as CISSP or CCNA Security
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems
