Office Assistant
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Assistant to join our team in Ajman. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office staff, managing office supplies and equipment, and assisting with various clerical tasks. This position is suitable for Filipinos and other foreigners who are fluent in English and have no prior experience. We do not provide accommodation.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Answer incoming calls, take messages, and redirect calls as needed
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Prepare outgoing mail and packages for delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Monitor inventory of office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, invoicing, and payment processing
- Assist with scheduling appointments or meetings as needed
- Help with document management by filing, scanning, and organizing paperwork
- Assist with preparing reports or presentations as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional education or training in office administration is a plus
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Fluent in English (verbal and written); knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Salary: $1000 per month
Location: Ajman
Note: Preference will be given to Filipinos but all nationalities are welcome to apply. Accommodation will not be provided.
