Merchandising Coordinator
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandising Coordinator to join our team in Doha. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing merchandising strategies to drive sales and increase brand visibility. This position is open to all nationalities, but preference will be given to Indian or Kenyan candidates with excellent English communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement merchandising plans for new product launches and promotions
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment or markdowns to optimize sales
- Conduct store visits to ensure proper merchandising standards are being met
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues that may arise
- Work closely with marketing team on visual merchandising strategies for in-store displays
- Train store staff on product knowledge, display techniques, and merchandising guidelines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel for data analysis
