Information Security Analyst


As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company's information systems and data. You will design, implement, and maintain security measures to protect against unauthorized access or cyber attacks. This role requires a strong understanding of network and systems security, as well as knowledge of current threats and vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security issues
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls to prevent unauthorized access or data breaches
- Monitor network activity and investigate any suspicious or malicious behavior
- Collaborate with IT teams to identify and address any security vulnerabilities in hardware or software systems
- Stay up-to-date on emerging threats and industry best practices for information security
- Train employees on proper security protocols and conduct regular security awareness training sessions
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner and provide recommendations for remediation
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools
- Experience with incident response procedures
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to anticipate potential risks
- Great attention to detail
- Strong communication skills

Location: Karachi (with accommodation provided)

Salary: $1600/month (negotiable based on experience)
