Fitter for Contract Position in Herzliya, Kenya


We are in need of an experienced and skilled Fitter to join our team for a contract position in Herzliya, Kenya. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing and repairing various mechanical systems and equipment. This is an English speaking job with a salary of 1400$, with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the layout of mechanical systems
- Assemble, install and repair mechanical systems such as heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) units
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with mechanical systems
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Operate hand tools, power tools and other specialized equipment
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physically fit to handle the demands of the job

Preferred:
- Nationality: Kenyan or African preferred, but not required
- Location: Candidates currently residing in Herzliya preferred, but not required.
