Back-End Developer

As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the server-side of web applications. You will work closely with front-end developers and designers to ensure an optimal user experience. Your main focus will be on developing and implementing efficient algorithms, database structures, and APIs. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, is detail-oriented, and has a passion for creating high-quality code.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side code for web applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Design efficient algorithms and database structures
- Create and maintain APIs for seamless data exchange between servers and clients
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues or bugs in code
- Ensure the security of web applications by implementing proper authentication and authorization protocols
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in back-end technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a back-end developer
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Proficient understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL) and database management systems
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Knowledge of server-side frameworks such as Express or Flask is a plus
- Familiarity with front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is preferred but not required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Location: Jerusalem (work from home option available)

Employment type: Contract (with possibility of extension)

Salary: 1500$ per month
