Interpreter (Faisalabad, Pakistan)



As an interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. This role requires a high level of proficiency in at least two languages, with a strong preference for English and the local language of Faisalabad, Pakistan. You will work on a contract basis and must have a biometric passport. We welcome applications from students without experience who are looking to gain valuable skills in interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as a bridge between individuals who do not speak the same language
- Listen to speakers and accurately translate their words into the target language
- Interpret conversations in real-time, whether it be in person or over the phone
- Maintain cultural sensitivity and convey tone and emotion accurately
- Clarify information if needed and ensure all parties understand each other
- Keep track of industry-specific terminology and stay up-to-date on relevant news
- Attend meetings, conferences, or events as needed to provide interpretation services

Requirements:

- Proficiency in English and the local language of Faisalabad, Pakistan
- Excellent verbal communication skills in both languages
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy in fast-paced environments
- Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Good listening skills and ability to convey tone and emotion accurately
- Biometric passport is required for this role
