Housekeeping Assistant



The Housekeeping Assistant will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the designated areas of the property. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a strong work ethic, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent time management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Perform general housekeeping duties, such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and making beds
- Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy at all times
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate supervisor
- Communicate with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Follow all health and safety guidelines while performing duties
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in housekeeping or similar role is an asset but not required
- Must be able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 25 pounds

This is a full-time position located in Nairobi. Candidates must have their own valid visa for employment. Fluent English is preferred but not required.
