Moderator for Canadian Online Community in Moscow

Our rapidly growing online community for Canadians living in Moscow is seeking a Moderator to join our team. As a Moderator, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and engaging environment for our members, as well as ensuring the community follows our guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and moderate all user-generated content on the online platform
- Engage with members and respond to inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely manner
- Foster a positive and inclusive community by encouraging respectful discussions and interactions
- Enforce community guidelines and policies to maintain a safe and appropriate environment
- Collaborate with the team to plan and implement events, contests, and other initiatives to keep the community active and engaged
- Conduct regular reviews of user activity to identify potential issues or violations
- Stay up-to-date with current trends, news, and topics relevant to the Canadian community in Moscow

Requirements:
- Fluent English communication skills (French is an asset)
- Canadian nationality or strong connection to Canadian culture
- Familiarity with online communities and social media platforms
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse individuals
- Attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines accurately
- Knowledge of Russian language is preferred but not required
