Preservation Architect


We are seeking a talented and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Chelyabinsk. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures while adhering to local and national preservation standards. Your main duties will include conducting site surveys, documenting existing conditions, preparing reports and proposals, and coordinating with contractors and engineers.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys to assess the condition of historic buildings and structures
- Research the history of the building and its architectural style to inform restoration plans
- Develop preservation strategies that adhere to local and national preservation standards
- Prepare detailed reports outlining existing conditions, proposed restoration plans, and cost estimates
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure preservation work is carried out effectively
- Monitor preservation work to ensure compliance with plans and standards
- Provide guidance on materials selection and use of traditional building techniques
- Maintain accurate records of all preservation work for future reference

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in preservation architecture
- In-depth knowledge of local and national historic preservation standards
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with other professionals
- Attention to detail with excellent project management skills

Salary: 1200$ per month
