Preservation Architect

We are currently hiring a Preservation Architect to join our team in Chelyabinsk, Russia. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that historical buildings are preserved while also meeting modern building codes and standards.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings to determine their condition and preservation needs
- Develop preservation plans and strategies for the restoration of historical buildings
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that preservation plans are executed effectively
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals for restoration projects
- Oversee restoration projects to ensure they adhere to preservation plans and budget constraints
- Conduct research on historical building materials, methods, and techniques to inform restoration projects
- Document all stages of restoration projects for record-keeping purposes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in preservation architecture or a related field
- Knowledge of historical building materials, methods, and techniques
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to historic preservation
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and other professionals

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)

This is a contract position for an initial period of 1 year with the possibility of extension. Fluency in English is preferred but not required. This job is open to individuals of Indian nationality who are willing to relocate to Chelyabinsk.
