Head Chef: Indian Cuisine (Triesen, Liechtenstein)
The Head Chef of Indian Cuisine will be responsible for leading the culinary operations in our busy restaurant in Triesen, Liechtenstein. This individual must have a passion for Indian cuisine and possess strong leadership skills to manage a team of kitchen staff. The ideal candidate should have previous experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in an Indian restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Design and create menus that incorporate traditional Indian flavors while also catering to modern tastes
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of all dishes
- Train and develop kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance management
- Ensure quality control and consistency in food preparation and presentation
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control for all ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with management on special events or promotions
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in an Indian restaurant
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations and spices
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with menu design and cost control
- Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Must be legally eligible to work in Triesen
Salary:
Starting salary of 1800$ per month plus tips. Accommodation can be provided for those who require it.
