Network and Systems Administrator



Our company is seeking a qualified Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Oslo. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our network and computer systems. This is an entry-level position, so no prior experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, network devices, and applications
- Troubleshoot network and system issues
- Monitor network traffic and performance to identify any potential issues or security threats
- Implement security measures to protect our network from cyber attacks
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination within the team
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and networking issues
- Create and maintain system documentation for future reference

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Basic understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (Norwegian proficiency is a plus)

Salary:

This position offers a competitive salary of 1200$ per month.

Location:

This position is located in Oslo. While accommodation is not provided by the company, we will assist non-local candidates with finding suitable housing options.
