Milling Machine Operator

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining milling equipment to produce high-quality products according to specifications. This is a contract position with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Operate milling machines to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on milling equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production
- Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain accurate records of production data
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating milling machines in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Familiarity with CNC controls is preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials as needed
