Radio Technician



We are hiring a skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team in Eldoret. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio equipment used for broadcasting or communication purposes.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair radio broadcasting equipment such as transmitters, receivers, antennas, and transmission lines
- Troubleshoot technical issues with radio equipment and perform necessary repairs
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and make any necessary adjustments or replacements
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on radio equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and calibrating equipment
- Stay updated on new technology and advancements in the radio industry to improve efficiency and effectiveness of equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in electronics or related field is preferred
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of electronic components and circuitry
- Familiarity with FCC regulations and procedures for operating radio broadcasting equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and communicate with clients
