A renowned bakery in Nizwa is seeking a talented and experienced Indian Pastry Chef to join our team. Our company is dedicated to providing high-quality, delicious pastries and desserts to our customers. We are looking for a creative and passionate individual who will bring their expertise to our kitchen.

Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to traditional recipes and modern techniques
- Oversee the entire pastry production process from planning and ordering ingredients to baking and decorating
- Train and mentor junior pastry chefs in the art of pastry-making
- Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop new menu items that will delight our customers
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and ingredients
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, ordering as needed
- Adhere to budgetary guidelines for food costs

Requirements:
- Must be an Indian national with experience working as a Pastry Chef in a reputable bakery or restaurant setting
- Minimum of 5 years experience in pastry-making with knowledge of traditional Indian desserts and modern techniques
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills with experience training or managing junior chefs
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Creativity and passion for creating unique pastries that will impress our customers

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month along with accommodation, transportation, medical insurance, annual leave, and other benefits.
