Land Surveyor
A land surveyor is responsible for measuring and mapping land and gathering data for construction, engineering, and other purposes. They use a variety of tools such as GPS, total stations, and laser scanners to accurately determine boundaries and identify potential obstacles. The ideal candidate will have experience in land surveying, strong math skills, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys using equipment such as GPS, total stations, and laser scanners
- Measure distances and angles between points to determine property boundaries
- Research legal documents, maps, and previous surveys to obtain data needed for surveys
- Create maps and drawings using survey data
- Identify potential obstacles or hazards that may affect construction or development plans
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals involved in a project
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in land surveying
- Strong mathematical skills
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills
Salary: $1500 per month
Location: Moscow
Preference: Indians currently residing in Moscow with English speaking abilities. Students with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
