Librarian for English-Speaking Library in Los Angeles

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Librarian to join our English-speaking library in Los Angeles. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, providing reference services to patrons, and promoting library resources to the community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection by selecting, organizing, and cataloging books, magazines, and other materials
- Provide reference services to patrons by assisting with research and information needs
- Develop and implement programs and events to promote the library's resources and services
- Maintain accurate records of circulation, patron requests, and other library statistics
- Train and supervise support staff and volunteers
- Stay current with industry trends and new technologies in order to enhance the library's offerings

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Librarian in an English-speaking library setting
- Strong knowledge of library cataloging systems and information resources
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse individuals from different backgrounds
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month along with full-time employment. This position is open to all nationalities but preference will be given to Pakistani or African candidates who are fluent in English. We also provide free visa sponsorship and airfare for selected candidates.
