Android Developer

As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. You should have a strong understanding of the Android platform and be able to write efficient, clean, and well-documented code. You should also have experience with agile development methodologies and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be collaborating with designers, project managers, and other developers. This is a contract position based in Braga with a competitive salary of $1000 per month.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing new features for existing Android applications
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues in existing code
- Collaborating with designers to ensure the best user experience
- Working closely with project managers to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality products
- Participating in code reviews to maintain high coding standards
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Android development

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience developing Android applications using Java or Kotlin
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience working with APIs and third-party libraries
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

While not required, the following qualifications would be considered an asset:
- Experience developing cross-platform mobile applications using React Native or Flutter
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles for mobile applications
- Familiarity with Git version control system
