Preservation Architect (Part-Time)


We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Preservation Architect to join our team in Braga on a part-time basis. This position offers a salary of 1100$ per month, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to supplement their income. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic structures while also ensuring that they meet current building codes and regulations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in architecture and a passion for historic preservation.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on historic structures, including their architectural styles and construction methods
- Create detailed drawings and plans for restoration projects
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the structural integrity of historic buildings
- Monitor restoration projects to ensure they are following preservation guidelines and meeting budget constraints
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of restoration projects
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices for historic preservation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in architecture or historic preservation (entry-level candidates will also be considered)
- Strong knowledge of architectural history and styles
- Experience working with building codes and regulations
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other design software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
