Skilled Carpenter

As a Skilled Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing various structures made of wood, such as cabinets, furniture, and building frameworks. You will use your expertise in reading blueprints and following technical specifications to ensure accurate and precise work. Your duties will also include selecting and purchasing materials, as well as maintaining tools and equipment.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and the ability to interpret architectural plans. Attention to detail and a safety-oriented mindset are crucial in this physically demanding profession. Effective communication skills will also be important when working with clients or other construction professionals.

Responsibilities:
- Constructing, repairing, or installing structures made of wood
- Ensuring accuracy by following blueprints and technical specifications
- Selecting appropriate materials for each project
- Measuring and cutting materials to desired specifications
- Assembling components using hand or power tools
- Repairing or replacing damaged parts
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Communicating with clients or other construction professionals as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred
- Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role (preferably 3+ years)
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
- Excellent math skills for measurements and calculations
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for long periods of time
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Safety-conscious mindset with knowledge of proper safety procedures
- Effective communication skills
Salary: 1400$ per month
Location: Braga, Portugal (Portuguese nationality preferred)
