Executive Pastry Chef
Our luxury hotel in Manama is seeking an experienced and creative Executive Pastry Chef to lead our pastry team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually stunning desserts, as well as strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the pastry team, including training, scheduling, and overseeing daily operations
- Develop new and innovative dessert menus for our restaurants and events
- Ensure high quality standards for all pastries, including taste, presentation, and consistency
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus for special events
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Proven ability to manage a team and delegate tasks effectively
- Proficient in various pastry techniques and familiar with current trends in the industry
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with other departments
Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
City: Manama, Bahrain (applicants must be willing to relocate if not already located in Manama)
