Data Mining Specialist


We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Mining Specialist to join our team in Akron. As a Data Mining Specialist, you will be responsible for extracting and analyzing large sets of data in order to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform business decisions. You will work closely with our data management team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data being collected. This is a contract position with accommodation provided, as well as a free visa and ticket for Indian candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data using various tools and techniques
- Identifying patterns, trends, and insights within the data to inform business decisions
- Collaborating with other teams to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data being collected through regular checks and maintenance
- Communicating findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in data mining techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
- Proven experience working with large datasets using SQL or other programming languages such as Python or R
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Knowledge of various data mining techniques and tools such as regression analysis, clustering, etc.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner
