IT Support Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join our team in Os, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients and employees. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, as well as excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients and employees via phone, email, or in-person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Install and configure computer systems and applications
- Set up new user accounts and profiles
- Maintain inventory of equipment and software licenses
- Perform regular maintenance on computer systems
- Update systems with the latest security patches and antivirus software
- Assist with network setup and maintenance
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex technical issues

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Knowledge of computer networks, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Familiarity with Windows operating system environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
-Solid understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
-Knowledge of Linux operating systems
-Certifications in relevant areas such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)

Salary: $1500/month (part-time) with potential for full-time employment. Accommodation may be provided.
