Entry Level Interpreter

We are in need of an Entry Level Interpreter to join our team in Bergen! As an interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services for our clients. This role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services for clients in various settings such as meetings, conferences, and phone calls
- Ensure accurate and clear communication between parties by interpreting spoken language accurately and concisely
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Research terminology and cultural references to ensure accuracy in interpretation
- Collaborate with team members to improve interpretation techniques and processes
- Document all interpreted conversations accurately for record keeping purposes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a language-related field or equivalent experience
- Fluent in English and at least one other language (preferably Norwegian)
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interpret quickly and accurately
- Excellent listening skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player
- Flexibility to work irregular hours or on short notice
- Able to handle high-pressure situations calmly
- Must be able to pass a background check
