Hotel Sales Manager - Muscat, Oman
We are hiring a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Muscat, Oman. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for our hotel through effective sales strategies and strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to increase revenue for the hotel
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competition
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns
- Prepare and present sales reports to senior management
- Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring profitability for the hotel
- Train and mentor the sales team to achieve their targets
- Attend networking events and trade shows to promote the hotel
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape in the hotel industry in Oman
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Canadian nationality preferred
Salary:
1500$ per month + commission on sales
Contract Type:
Full-time, 1-year contract with possibility of extension
Accommodation:
This is a contract job without accommodation provided. Candidates must arrange their own accommodation in Muscat.
