Unity Developer
We are seeking an experienced Unity Developer to join our team in Porto. As a Unity Developer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing game mechanics, systems, and features using Unity and C#. You will work closely with artists, designers, and other developers to bring our games to life. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of game development principles and experience with Unity and C# programming. This is a contract job with the potential for full-time employment and the option to work remotely or in our Porto office.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with artists, designers, and other developers to create engaging gameplay experiences
- Design, code, debug, and maintain game mechanics, systems, and features using Unity and C#
- Optimize game performance for different platforms
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of professional experience developing games using Unity and C#
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with mobile game development is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Porto, Portugal
This position is open to all nationalities. Candidates must have their own visa or be eligible for a Portuguese work visa.
