Contract Accountant - Porto, Portugal


We are a rapidly growing financial services company seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Contract Accountant to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Contract Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records for our organization. This is a contract position without accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct monthly reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
- Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts to support decision-making processes
- Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to management
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of financial tasks

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month.
