Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Almada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. This is a contract position with a salary of $1700 per month, plus accommodation provided. No prior experience is required for this role, but candidates must be willing to learn and have a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently according to job site requirements
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment
- Read and interpret construction plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure safety on the job site
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols while on the job site

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid heavy equipment operator license/certification
- Prior experience operating heavy machinery preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds
