Contract Truck Driver in Bergen


We are in need of a reliable and experienced truck driver to join our team in Bergen. As a contract truck driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods from one location to another. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per week.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a large commercial truck, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Load and unload goods onto the truck using proper equipment
- Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections on the truck and report any issues immediately
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, miles driven, and fuel consumption
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules

Requirements:
- Must have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver
- Clean driving record with no accidents or violations
- Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws
- Physically fit to handle loading/unloading goods onto the truck
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Skills:
- Experience driving trucks with manual transmission
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems

Location:
This position is based in Bergen, Norway. Candidates must have the legal right to work in Norway.

Salary & Benefits:
