Academic Tutor



Academic Tutors are responsible for providing personalized academic support and guidance to students of all ages and levels. They work with individuals or small groups to help them improve their academic performance, develop critical thinking skills, and achieve their educational goals.

Responsibilities:
- Assessing students' knowledge, strengths, and weaknesses to create personalized learning plans
- Preparing and delivering engaging lessons in various subjects, such as math, science, language arts, and social studies
- Using a variety of teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles
- Providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement
- Monitoring students' progress and adjusting lesson plans accordingly
- Communicating with parents or guardians about students' progress and areas of concern
- Preparing students for tests or exams by reviewing material and practicing test-taking strategies
- Encouraging independent learning and critical thinking skills through challenging assignments and activities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in education or relevant field
- Proven experience as an academic tutor or teacher
- Strong knowledge of subject matter across various grade levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and adaptability in working with diverse learners
- Ability to motivate students and foster a positive learning environment
- Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes

Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Aalborg (no relocation assistance provided)

Contract job: This is a contract position without guaranteed hours. Tutors will be paid based on the number of hours worked.

Experience required: Minimum 2 years of experience as an academic tutor or teacher.

Accommodation: This position does not include accommodation. Applicants must have their own housing arrangements in Aalborg.
