Registered Dietitian



As a Registered Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based nutrition counseling and education to patients in the Bayan area. You will work closely with healthcare teams to develop individualized nutrition plans and monitor progress. Your role will also involve conducting nutrition assessments, providing recommendations for therapeutic diets, and conducting group education sessions.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients
- Develop personalized nutrition plans based on medical needs, dietary preferences, and cultural considerations
- Counsel patients on healthy eating habits and provide education on managing chronic conditions through diet
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to nutrition plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care for patients
- Conduct group education sessions on various nutrition topics
- Stay up-to-date with current research and guidelines related to dietetics
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care
- Provide support and guidance to non-dietetic healthcare professionals

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
- Current registration as a Dietitian in Bayan or willingness to obtain registration
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical dietetics
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Nepali language is preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively educate patients from diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices related to nutrition therapy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Salary: $1600 per month

Location: Bayan, Nepal

This is a full-time position with accommodation provided. We welcome candidates who already have their own visa but are also willing to assist with obtaining a work visa for the right candidate.
