Bilingual Interpreter (English and African language)

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Bilingual Interpreter to join our team in Triesen. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between English speaking individuals and individuals who speak an African language. You will use your exceptional language skills to accurately convey messages and ensure understanding between both parties.

Responsibilities:
- Interpret conversations, meetings, and events between English speaking individuals and individuals who speak an African language
- Translate written documents from English to the African language and vice versa
- Ensure accuracy and cultural sensitivity in all interpretations
- Provide support for clients who may have difficulty understanding or communicating in English
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and at least one African language (preferably Kenyan)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to interpret complex ideas accurately and efficiently
- Strong knowledge of cultural norms and customs of both languages
- Previous experience as an interpreter preferred but not required

Salary: $1700 per month
